Hello Ladies!

MAWMR IS ALIVE AND WELL!!

There will be a 2007 Rally in Gettysburg, PA.

Hey all. We're gearing up for the 15th Rally! Can't believe it's been that long! Are you ready?

My name is Barbara Hook and my cohorts in crime keep telling me that I am the new leader for this
group of wonderful women. Let me tell you that without them, who knows what I'd be doing.

I have been involved with MAWMR since the first rally. My wonderful friend, Nancy Warren,
came up with the idea of MAWMR and I have been there to help (annoy/badger, etc.) ever since.

For 2007, we are looking forward to a bigger, better Rally with more things to do.

Please, if you have any questions, suggestions or comments (positive or negative), let me know.
If there is anything that you would be willing to do to help us, it would be greatly appreciated.

Would you be willing to teach a workshop or fill-in for a couple of hours? I am sure that we
have many creative attendees who would love to pass their knowledge along. See ya there!

WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Shelley Abbott and Jenn LeVan are our newest additions to the MAWMR board. Shelley is
our new web mistress. You will recognize her from the Friday night entertainment, Da Girls.
Jenn is our new PR representative. You will recognize her as the owner of Battlefield Harley
Davidson. Both of these ladies have a lot to offer and we plan on taking full advantage of them.

MEET THE BOARD

Well, I've made it through my first year as a board member and believe it or not, I'm back.
This year I'm tackling a new job and have a new title. I'll be working with the vendors.
I have read all the rally surveys (really) from last year's rally and I'll do my best to bring
you a variety of vendors. But remember you must do your part at rally time to support them.
I really don't need another shirt or dew-rag, but I try to support the vendors.
Don't worry, I'll bug you all later about that!!!

We are currently working very hard to try to bring you some new things, so please bear with us.
It's all about change and we've been through some changes. MAWMR is moving forward. We'll be here
this year. How about you? Hope to see you all in June! If you have any ideas for vendors I can
be reached at dawn@mawmr.org.

I am very excited to be planning the 15th Anniversary of MAMWR with a great group of ladies.
of new items as well as limited edition 15th Anniversary collectibles available at the rally.

Mindy Cassel Secretary/Treasurer

Hi! I'm the treasurer for MAWMR. I have been a rally participant since 1998, and have been
on the executive board for several years. Every year I look forward to seeing the returning
participants, as well as the new faces. Since I work as a massage therapist throughout the
rally, I don't get to spend as much time as I would like meeting the "newbie's", or visiting
with returning friends. I still manage to forge new friendships and build upon existing ones.

That's what the rally is about… creating connections with women riders whose paths we may
never have crossed had we not come to MAWMR. It never ceases to amaze me what a diversified
group of women riders can do when they set their minds to something. $27,000.00 donated to
Susan G Komen last rally. Ladies, you ROCK! I can hardly wait for June. Ride on!

Shelley Abbott Web Site Management

It is a great honor to be an even bigger part of MAWMR. I have enjoyed many years
of providing entertainment for the rally and also being a participant. But alas, now
the work has begun.

I ride a 2000 Harley Deuce and have been a biker most of my life. I live on the
Eastern Shore of Maryland with a couple of birds, two cats, a Pekingese...and a partridge
in a pear tree. Ok… no partridge!

I look forward to the 2007 Rally, and working as a group with the MAWMR board. This
is a 15 year anniversary and I am sure you are all in for big, big surprises. Expect big

Greetings from Gettysburg! My name is Jennifer LeVan and I am a new member of the
MAWMR Board. As Managing Partner of Battlefield Harley-Davidson of Gettysburg, I have
been proud to welcome the Mid Atlantic Women's Motorcycle Rally to Gettysburg for the
last 4 years and I'm really excited about this year's 15th Anniversary Rally.

Gettysburg is very biker friendly, and offers beautiful roads to ride through our
orchards, farmland and of course the Battlefield.

Over and above all of the local attractions, I hope you will enjoy all the activities
at the Days Inn, the host hotel. Vendors, games, workshops, the bike show, bingo, karaoke,
a fabulous massage, dinner rides or just making new friends.

I am looking forward to seeing old acquaintances and lots of new faces at the rally
this year! Ride Safe!
